I stayed in a lovely cottage away from the main house, which provided a peaceful and private environment. The unit was clean and tidy, offering a comfortable and cozy space. The lounge and dining area in the main house were enjoyable and had a welcoming atmosphere. It was great to have a communal kitchen where I could prepare my meals and socialize with other guests. The location was also convenient, being just a short walk from the lake, allowing me to easily enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

We had a delightful 3-night stay at Kea by the Lake. The flat was beautifully furnished and the location was perfect, right across the road from the lake. The kitchen facilities were great, allowing us to prepare our own meals. The peaceful and private atmosphere made for a relaxing stay.
100% Recommend this hotel.

The free WiFi was as fast as a sloth on sedatives, the BBQ facilities were like a rusty tin can, the shared lounge was more crowded than a clown car, and the free private parking was as scarce as a unicorn in the city. Great experience, indeed.
Who needs clean rooms, friendly service, or decent facilities when you can have a total disaster of a hotel?

During my recent stay at a charming accommodation just a stone's throw away from the serene lake, I had the pleasure of staying in a separate cottage away from the main house. The cleanliness and tidiness of the unit were commendable, creating a cozy ambiance. The lounge and dining area in the main house were also delightful, providing a pleasant space to relax and enjoy a home-cooked meal. The location was incredibly convenient, with easy access to nearby shops, tours, and eateries. Lastly, the helpful staff went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, even going so far as to purchase tea bags for the communal kitchen. I highly recommend this accommodation for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The location was incredible, right across the road from the lake, and the guest kitchen had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The living area was super cozy and the fact that there was parking onsite was a huge plus. The room was clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Although it was basic, it was more than adequate for our short stay. The lockbox access was convenient and we had no issues during our time there. a great experience at a reasonable price!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, with some great features. The cleanliness was outstanding, and we were impressed with how well-maintained everything was. The shared lounge and kitchen were lovely, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The laundry facilities on site were also a plus. We also appreciated having a fridge in our room, which was very useful. the hotel facilities were excellent and made our stay comfortable.
There were some disappointments during our stay. We felt that the hotel was overpriced for the quality it offered.

Great location, right by the lake with beautiful views of the mountains. The room was clean and had a spacious bathroom. Plus, Te Anau is a fantastic place to visit and there's plenty to explore nearby.
The room was sweltering hot with no air conditioning or proper ventilation. It was almost unbearable during the summer heat and took ages to cool down.
